The Savary Island Official Community Plan ( OCP ) is a community driven document outlining guidelines and policies that ideally capture our collective goals for the island. We are due for a new one. The 2006 version has led us for 19 years, and was uneventful in our lives, because it was non-regulatory. This may be a good thing. Savary residents don't necessarily want regulations. On the other hand, there may be some good reasons to adopt regulations. These are the questions the community will be asking as we go through the process, currently underway. There is more to an OCP than just regulations however. We encourage you to read the old 2006 OCP linked below, and consider how you would prefer the new one to represent your own vision for Savary Island. This page will be updated as we learn what content will be included.
