Savary Island Official Community Plan 2024/2026
The updated Savary Island Official Community Plan is underway, and is scheduled for adoption in summer 2026. The Vision, Goals, and Policies of Savary’s OCP will ideally capture the collective voice of Savary property owners.
We are now in Phase Five of the OCP development process. The document had its first reading on May 26. Regional District Planners will be finalizing the draft based on public engagement to date plus information gathered at the Pop-Up Plan sessions on three Savary Market Tuesdays: July 14, July 28, and August 18. There is an online survey to come, and the 2nd reading, before the final reading at a Public Hearing later this summer.
